Career Pulse is a diagnostic tool to measure a user’s employability skills and their improvement over time. Users self-assess across core employability categories before they are provided with a personalised report and programme of learning activity. Users discover which areas they are weaker in and they will automatically be directed to the programme that supports that learning.

Organisations can track the scores and progress over time against each category and overall and demonstrate improvement through evidence. Within each of those categories, you can set links to whatever learning you like to help your users address those employability gaps, including your own programmes.

Tracking users progress

Career Pulse allows you to spot trends and evidence employability gain within your institution as well as understanding the key areas, where your students are excelling or struggling in the most effective way.

The reporting provides an overview of all results and improvement over time that can be used to evidence employability activity levels, benchmark where students are when they arrive, and evidence learning gain. Results can identify low confidence in specific areas and target those users with specific interventions.

πŸ€“ Tip: To get the pulse scores of each student, ensure pulse responses are not anonymous which is an option when setting up pulse.

To find the pulse scores follow the below steps.

  2. Click Run Reports then enter your client token and click Continue.

  3. Click Career Pulse, then click Reports and select the relevant pulse.

  4. Under the Pulse Retakes section, click the plus icon + to expand the user data.
