Create and manage programmes in Programme Manager

Guidance on creating a new programme or managing an existing one.

Programmes let you structure content so that learners have a clear path to follow. Each programme has a selection of tasks, with each task having actions that learners must complete. Programmes can be grouped together into an award or completed as standalone programmes.

To set up a programme, watch the video or follow the below steps.

Find and manage existing programmes

  1. From the home page, click the cog icon in the top right to access the admin area.

  2. Click Manage Tasks, then enter your client token and click Load.

  3. Click Programmes.

You have several options to to manage the questions.

  • Click the name of a programme to see an overview of how it appears to users.

  • Click the edit icon Edit icon to edit the programme details.

  • Click the link icon Link icon to create a link to the programme to be shared.

  • Click the trash icon Bin icon to delete a programme.

  • Click the report icon REPORT ICON to generate a report on the programme usage.


Create a new programme

  1. From the Programmes page, click +Add New Programme.

  2. Enter the name, then either a short description, a long description, or both.

  3. Customise the Status Report Description field or leave it blank to use the default description.

  4. Upload a thumbnail and banner image as required.

  5. Enable the Certificate toggle if you want learners to receive a certificate by email upon completion.

  6. If the programme is being included as part of a larger award, search for the relevant award using the drop-down menu.

  7. Enable the Welcome Email toggle to notify learners. This email will be sent out when the programme is made active.

  8. Choose the audience for the programme.

  9. Once finished, click Create.
