Manage panels on the carousel

Guidance on how to add, edit or remove panels from the carousel.

The carousel can be configured with your own content.

πŸ“Œ Note: If you configure the carousel, you can only have your configured content, you cannot have a mixture of configured content and the default Career Centre content.

The first step towards creating your configured carousel is to create a panel. A configured carousel is created when there are multiple panels created and made active.

To add panels to the carousel follow the steps below.

  1. In the Admin area select Manage Themes

  2. Enter client token and click Load Themes

  3. Click on the theme you'd like to update under My Themes

  4. Click on the Dashboard - Settings tab

  5. Click on the Create New Panel button

  6. Complete the form presented. Please note that when you tick the active checkbox and save this panel, the default Career Centre content will no longer be available.

  7. Click Save

  8. Your panel will be saved and you will be taken back to the Manage Panels page where you can preview your panel

Your panel will be saved. You can preview them on the Manage Panels page. If you have activated the panel it will be displayed on your dashboard as previewed.

Add a panel to a new or existing carousel

The carousel can be customised with your own content. If you customise the carousel, you can only have your customised content, you cannot have a mixture of customised content and the default career centre content.

To add panels to the carousel follow the steps below:

  1. In the Admin area select Manage Themes

  2. Enter client token and click Load Themes

  3. Click on the theme you'd like to update under My Themes

  4. Click on the Dashboard - Settings tab

  5. Click on the Create New Panel button

  6. Complete the form presented. Please note that when you tick the active checkbox and save this panel, the default Career Centre content will no longer be available.

  7. Click Save

  8. Your panel will be saved and you will be taken back to the Manage Panels page where you can preview your panel

Your panel will be saved. You can preview it on the Manage Panels page. If you have activated the panel it will be displayed on your dashboard as previewed.


Edit panels on the carousel

You can edit panels on the carousel to change what's displayed.


​Note: You will no longer have the ability to make a panel available to all themes upon editing the panel. When you tick the active checkbox and save this panel, the default Career Centre content will no longer be available. When you make your configured panels active, the default Career Centre content will no longer be available.

To do this, follow the below steps.

  1. In the Admin area select Manage Themes

  2. Enter client token and click Load Themes

  3. Click on the theme you'd like to update under My Themes

  4. Click on the Dashboard - Settings tab

  5. Click on Manage Carousel

  6. The table will display any panels in the theme you've selected. Use the Select Theme filter to switch between themes.

  7. Click Edit next to the panel you wish to edit

  8. Edit panel details in the form presented.

  9. Click Save. Your panel will be saved.


Change the order of panels in the carousel

You can change the order of panels in the carousel as required.

To do this, follow the steps below.

  1. In the Admin area select Manage Themes.

  2. Enter client token and click Load Themes.

  3. Click the relevant theme you'd like to update under My Themes.

  4. Click the Dashboard - Settings tab

  5. Click Manage Carousel

  6. On the Manage Panels homepage, select the theme you want to update from the Select Theme dropdown menu.

  7. Drag and drop to reorder the panels in the theme.



​Delete panels on the carousel

  1. In the Admin area select Manage Themes

  2. Enter client token and click Load Themes

  3. Click on the theme you'd like to update under My Themes

  4. Click on the Dashboard - Settings tab

  5. Click on Manage Carousel

  6. The table will display any panels in the chosen theme. Use the Select Theme filter to switch between themes.

  7. Click Delete next to the panel you wish to remove from the carousel

  8. You will be presented with the Delete Confirmation box. Click Delete again to remove the panel.

    Your panel will be removed.

If you have any other configured active panels, these will be displayed, otherwise, your carousel will display the default Abintegro Career Centre content.
