The navigation bar along the top of your Access Careers Centre site is made up of three verticals: Find, Grow and Assess. The navigation for Grow is shown in a smart menu within the Grow area. Learners use these options to access available content on your site.
Administrators on your site can customise these options in the admin area, allowing you to hide options and add custom links as needed.
To access and customise menu options, watch the video or follow the steps below.
From the admin area, click the theme you would like to amend.
Click the Navigation tab.
Customise navigation options using the following.
Click the pencil icon to amend the name and icon used for a navigation option.
Toggle on or off the corresponding toggle to change visibility of a menu option. When off, users will not be able to view that option.
Click the relevant dropdown arrow to expand a navigation option, showing the sub items within it.
Add an item to a navigation option
You can add and amend the items that appear in the navigation options. To do this, follow the below steps.
Under the navigation option you are amending, click the Plus icon.
Add a Title and Description.
Click Select Icon, to browse for an icon to represent that item in the menu. Then click Confirm.
Add the Link URL.
Click Confirm.
Use the toggle to add or remove the item from that navigation option.
Click and drag your navigation item to reorder it.
Click the Pencil icon to make changes to your navigation item.
Click the Trash icon to delete a navigation item.
Click Save to apply any changes made.
π Note: You cannot add items to the Grow navigation option.
