Add tiles to the bulletin board

Guidance on creating a new tile to display on a bulletin board.

The bulletin board is a customisable belt on the learners homepage, that links users to important areas such as career pages, learning resources or external sites. It's most suitable for displaying information and links over a longer period of time.

Each tile added to the bulletin board will include a title, description and image. It can also include up to ten links that users will be able to interact with on the tile. Administrators can configure the tiles used by accessing the Admin Area.

To add a tile to the bulletin board watch the video or follow the steps below.

  1. From the admin area, click the name of the relevant theme.

  2. Click the Bulletin Board tab, then click Add Bulletin.

  3. Enter a title and description for the bulletin.

  4. Toggle on Display Multiple Links if adding more than one link.

  5. Enter the link title and URL for your links.

  6. Click the Image tile to add an image, or drag and drop one onto it.

  7. Click Confirm.

  8. Toggle the tile on or off for users on our site as needed.

After creating a tile, you can reorder it in the bulletin board. Click the Pencil icon to make changes to your bulletin board tile or click the Trash icon to delete a bulletin board tile.

Click Save to apply any changes made.
